In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, most people encounter some degree of “stress”. Media reports and health professionals frequently recommend that we should avoid as much stress as possible in order to remain healthy. But what is stress, is it always harmful and, more importantly, what can we do to minimise its harmful effects? This short talk will attempt to provide answers to these questions.
