As old as humanity itself, the heroic myths have inspired and guided us through the ages. Such myths encouraged an individual to pursue authentic living in its most profound way. Being a model of understanding for the journey of consciousness, the myths teach us what freedom is and how we can find the courage to live it.
All of us can be heroes, everyday heroes, who break their self-imposed limitations, to offer something meaningful to this world and to make it a little better.
This talk will explore some philosophical keys to the Hindu myth of the Bhagavad Gita, that can help us engage in our own reflections and live with a “heroic sense of life” in everyday situations.
